Our Footprint
Our carbon footprint is a priority, and our space, team and travel are our biggest contributors. From 2020 to ’21, we went from almost entirely home-working to a from-home / from-the-office hybrid mix. We also travelled to clients again, an important part of client relationships but something we constantly question - is it valuable, will it help create greater impact.
Our emissions
Our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions rose by 3% to 14.817t C02e in this time, an understandable and small rise, in the context of that change.
Our offsets
We offset those emissions two times over by mangrove-planting (12,029) which works at 28 tonnes of tCO2e offset through Ecosphere and Eden projects.
We moved our offsetting from trees to mangroves to have a more immediate impact. Both organisations have a focus on building community through their planting schemes.
Our landfill
We sent zero waste to landfill. One of the key components to this is, when our team is in the office, they take home any waste from lunches as households have a better recycling process compared to our shared office.
